is the ngk D8HA the proper plug for the 65 cb77. Just buying some odds and ends and figured new plugs would be good. anyone share the proper gap?

I might be nitpicking at this, but brand new D8HAs from Honda are gapped at .025 checking with a quality wire gauge. The protector sleeve was installed so no damage should have occured.
The proper gap is .028 if not mistaken.

THE HONDA BOOK SHOWS .024 TO .028. SO WHAT'S WRONG WITH .025?. ..............lm

Nothing's wrong with .025 now that I know the spec. My shop manual does not show the gap, or I haven't found it yet.LOUD MOUSE wrote:THE HONDA BOOK SHOWS .024 TO .028. SO WHAT'S WRONG WITH .025?. ..............lm
In all the threads I've read, .028 seems to come up often. It never hurts to check the gap.
