Hey guys,
Any trick to this ?
I couldn't pull them off easy and when I tried using pliers, the covers just cracked and broke off.
Thanks,
Beck

Ok. It seemed to me that you were trying to remove the wires from the coil, not the spark plug caps, which you will now need to do if you want to replace those wires. Depending on which coil you have, that can be a challenge because the wires are permanently embedded in some CA coils and pinned in place with a wooden or bamboo pin. It can be done.
If you are talking about the caps crumbling, just get new ones and cut 1/2" or so off the existing wires, and screw the new caps on.outdoors4me wrote:Sorry, 1964 ca77 - I actually figured it out. The spark plug wires have caps that screw on, but they just crumbled and the wires pull straight out. Just gotta get new plug wires now.Seadog wrote:What bike, Beck?
