I wasn't getting a spark so I swapped out my points with some brand spanking new ones. Put in a new condersor also. Now when there is no power to them. When check with the ammeter.....nothing.
What do you guys think?
Thanks,
Bryan

Re: No power to the points
Look at the screw where you put the condenser wire. Remove it and then check for 12 volts then attach it to the points so you still have 12 volts. If not attached to the screw correctly it will put the 12 volts to ground. ..................lm

That was it. It was grounding out. I took it down the road and it ran better than ever. It even started with one plug out.

P.S
Don't ever work on the points with the spark plugs out. I thought I dropped on of those tiny washers from the points screw down in the hole. Just about had a heart attack. Luckily, I found it sitting in the middle of the cooling fins.
