aftermarket coil question
hey, i just got my coil in the mail today and i was wondering what wires i will need to conect to this thing. It just has these holes that i need to plug wires into i guess. If someone could explain how this system works and how the wire conects to the coil i would really appricate it.

also, where did you find such wires at? If you get a chance show me some that are on ebay or something. thanks.

ryan

Re: aftermarket coil question
Ryan,

If you are talking about the high tension wires going to the plugs you can get those at most any auto supply. I always used Packard 440 wire. These were copper core wires with no resistors so it made listening to the radio impossible. Be sure and get any boots you might need at the same time.

Email me if I can be of any more help. Rob
Re: aftermarket coil question
I went to a local bike shop and they had a spool of the wire for $1.00 a foot. Try a small shop or custom shops also JP cycle may have some. You just put the cap on and then the rubber and push wire in hole so the pin in hole goes into the wire core then tighten the plastic nut down. Never saw them on ebay.
