I have recently started work on my CB77 it is a late model frame number is CB77/1052928 and the engine is CB77E/1052716 could this be the original engine for the frame as they are 212 apart also I have a spare engine bought with the bike CB77E/1045584 could that be roughly from the same year. The wiring harness has 66 stamped on it looking through the forum [it is very addictive] it could be a 66 or 67 bike looking forward to any replies regards Bill.

The engine and frame are most likely a match.
1967 is more like the year the bike was assembled not to worry the tag. ..........lm
