Like most of us I've had a couple of motorcycles stolen. I knew it had to be someone local as the bike was never left out in view, they broke down a fence and broke into my shed to steal the bike. This was a one off competition bike made for me so it was unique. I went out and toured all the local likely places and eventually it paid off. I spotted two lads riding it through town, even though they had sprayed it green(including seat and tyres) I knew that was my bike. They saw me and took off, I was in a brand new company car but the red mist had descended so they flew gracefully over the front of the car but still managed get up and run off. I got the damaged bike back but also got a visit from the police to say I might be prosecuted because I'd injured one of them. In the end I wasn't prosecuted but the thieving scum got let off with a caution and I was left a hefty repair bill.
