Throttle Cable Fabrication

I want to install longer handlebars on my CA77 (so I can ride in a more upright position) than stock but am having trouble finding a shop, preferably local in Akron/Canton Ohio, to fabricate a throttle cable. Any leads would be appreciated.

early? late? totally different cables. there are , out there, ready made longer cables for each setup.cruz ebay and learn. what do you have on it now? stock bars/cables put you pretty straight up on the dreams.

Just following up on this post. I called around to various local shops but came up empty and, after not receiving anything useful here, I decided to make my own. I bought an inexpensive solder pot and used an old cable and fittings that I had lying around from previous projects. It takes a little skill but a lot of patience to do it right.

So much better to do your own thing and then you get exactly what you need.

Making your own cables is very easy, just make sure that if you buy stainless steel inner cable that you use stainless solder.
