Identify dual sprocket?

Bob, looks like someone raided an early trail 90 for that setup. The larger sprocket bolts to the smaller one, and the extra length of chain in the tool kit allows the chain to fit. This was the setup before the hi/low sub trans that came out in 1968.

Did they just install the chain links and leave the alignment from the front sprocket at an angle?

The large sprocket will fit over the teeth of the smaller and bolts and washers hold it in place. .......lm

This sprocket is solid just like the outer one, it would not fit over the other one as you can tell by the pic below, here is a pic of the other side.

I'd check it for mods as the I.D. book and the fiche show only a 45 tooth sprocket. ............lm

Yeah, the procedure that lm has described, was the thing to do back in the late 50's and early 60's for sure. I've seen that done lots of times. Not much telling if the setup you are showing, is well laid out. Bill
