How does the chrome braket attach to the seat strap on a CB77. I did mine with a chrome phillips head, and a nut behind it, but I am worried that it may tear the seat cover. Does this look correct in the pics? If not, what is the correct way to attach? Thanks in asdvance.

although my seat is from a 66 i inspected it today and found 2 bolt holes in the seat pan where the strap would bolt to. the bolts are broken off in them so when i recover the seat i will drill and retap the holes.
