YES! Thank you!
These must be or they are from a CB77 later year or something. But thank you!

CA77 flat tracker?!
Evening, morning, whatever...
Big thanks to @Sixtiescycle for the exhaust. They look great bud! Happy to have a fell 305 appreciate in the area. The bike is sloooooooowly coming along. Hard to find time. Next on the docket is wiring, tires, and ordering cables. I also need to fabricate foot peg mounts along with a few other finishing details - like painting the tank and fender.
The seat is for my Kawasaki. I just placed it there to get a feel for how I want this one to look. Shorter for sure.

It'll have a brake at some point. Gotta clean and service the stock front wheel and drum. That's an XS650 wheel that's temporary.

OK! I had a moment today to put the wiring together. It's as super simple wiring harness consisting of the stock IG switch, points, coil and one of those $4 reg/rec units. The kind you would get at radioshack (RIP). No lights or anything... not yet at least. I need to fabricate a few mounting brackets for the coil and condenser before I can fire it up.
Question; The VIN on the frame was clearly stamped by hand on the right side just behind the neck. Like a bad throat tattoo... Obviously the PO had done something to this bike and needed to add one by hand.
The VIN is only 7 numbers long. Does that sound right? And do you have any suggestions, shy of calling the DMV to do a vin inspection?
