I found a local fellow that works at a seat manufacturer to make me new foam cushions. I saved the 'hump' from the rear of the original CL72 / 77 seat to be installed in the new units. I'll post a pic or 3 in a few weeks. I played around with making my own but I'm not very good with an electric bread knife.
I have only done one seat (Honda 1989 HawkGT) and it came out quite well compared to the original. It took a long time and there was a lot of "do-over" when I got something wrong.OldScrambler wrote:I found a local fellow that works at a seat manufacturer to make me new foam cushions. An electric carving knife and a sewing machine are not my favourite tools.
