Rob,
1. I miss the good ol' days mostly because my joints didn't hurt as much then and I didn't snore as loud. But, I would hate to have to re-live all those dumb mistakes again.
2. I got rid of my Whirlpool W&D after several repairs for Bosch. I must have had different models of Whirlpool because it sure took a lot more than 4 screws for it to come apart.
3. I agree with just about everything you said.
4. You seem like a pretty good guy.....for an engineer.
