Vintage Honda Store
Vintage Honda Store
Hi folks. Right now I am in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and I want to know if there is a store or place somewhere between here and Detroit, Michigan that specializes in VJM's. I will be travelling back up I75 north from here on Friday, Saturday. I appreciate any suggestions you have to offer. It seems that every town has a Harley dealership. What about old Honda's? :) Jeff H.

I second the nomination for Western Hills Honda- well worth the trip. While in Cincinnati stop and have a '3-way' at Skyline Chili (a local delicacy) and have a look at the Union Terminal, one of the most spectacular surviving Art Deco buildings this side of the Chrysler building.

Western Hills Honda it is. I stopped in Kentucky just across the bridge from the stadium in Ohio and spent the night there at a hotel. (where I left my camera :( doh!) I'll google the address and punch it into the GPS. I love that thing. Thanks, Jeff H.

I don't think I could survive the 3-way...but an Art Deco building? That's right up my alley. Thanks for that tip. :) Jeff H.houseowax wrote:I second the nomination for Western Hills Honda- well worth the trip. Jeff, if you have the time go inside the Union Terminal (now the 'Museum Center' where Cincy's Natural History Museum is housed).
The rotunda is absolutely incredible- completely encircled by the most amazing WPA mural. It really is a wonder. They were going to demolish this building in the late 1970s but it survived due to public outcry. It was turned into a shopping mall for a time before it became the new home of the museum. I'm from Cincinnati originally and still stop by to photograph the building when I visit my folks.
