I used a brass brush with no cleaner and it doesn't remove all the carbon. I will try the blast cleaner with glass bead. It comes with aluminum oxide.

I worked in a Harley shop when I was 17 years old. We had a spark plug cleaner / tester. You threaded the plug in, hooked a coil wire to plug, turned the air pressure in the cabinet up to 150 psi, and fired the plug. There was a glass window to look through and see the spark. We used glass beads as a cleaning medium, and it worked quite well. We also had a growler, and a cutter for testing and resufacing armatures. Things were repaired back then, not replaced unless useless.
