Oil Seals Early and Late CB77

Post by carabener » Wed Oct 28, 2009 4:21 pm

Hi
Probably this has been discussed but I can't find it...
In my earliest CB77 factory parts book the right side crank seal is a 32x65x6.5. part #91201-259-000.
In my later micro fische copy parts book and in the Bill Silver rebuild manuals this seal becomes a 32x65x7.5 (same part no).
The crank was changed later, but what to do if you have an early eg '63 CB77 with original knock pins, crank etc ? Any suggestions here appreciated. Thanks

Go ahead and use the 7.5, it'll work just fine.
