66 ca77 shifting problem

hiI have a 66 ca 77 when Iget it started the clutch runs fine until about 20 minutes then it doesn,t seem to engage .I'll stop in 2nd gear and the bike still wants to go forward.When the engine cools down everything works fine untilengine gets warmed up again.I've changed the earlier six plates to five but still the same.need help

How did ya adjust the clutch?. ..........lm

the guy i brought to adjusted the clutch with the clutch adjuster on the right engine cover but it seemed to have very little play

It's a lot more involved than that but is simple.

1. turn cable adjusters at the ends of the cable IN as far as they will go
2. loosen the bolt (10mm head) near the gray round adjuster with the large slot
3. turn the round thing right/left/right/left to be sure it is loose
4. turn that adjuster to the right (clockwise) to stop then back 1/8 inch
5. tighten the bolt
6. check for freeplay at the lever end and adjust to apx. 3/8 open
7. start engine and operate the clutch lever several times
8 if the clutch feels OK take the bike for a ride and adjust cable until things are good. ..............lm

I've tried all steps mentionned before and it still does it after riding for 20 min the clutch doesn't free the gears . When I pull the clutch it blke still pushes forward it seems to loose ajustement after a while.

When is the last time you changed the oil? I change mine every 1,000 miles and when it gets near to 1,000 miles I find that it is hard to find neutral, But after changing the oil, it works perfect.
