Wow Vince, those are some scary numbers.
I never imagined the sproket could have such a dramatic effect, but thining about my old 10 speed, it makes sense.
I think since I have time to kill, I am going to try and source a 34T, which should be a little bump up from my 31, but not too crazy.
I dont see myself ever taking this bike out of a highway, but I do want to be able to do 60 on a 50MPH backroad sometime.
Thanks again.

Ok, after a long injury (not on the bike) I am finally riding again, and here are the results.
With a 37 on the back, the bike is way way more snappy and fun, but there is a cost too.
The bottom line is if you never use the highway, this is a great set up around town. If you do, this is not a good idea.
In city traffic, where I am 90%, its great because you have very strong power in 3rd at about 30-35.
Its also a bonus that you can start from 2nd smoothly if you are rolling at all.
The higher revs are also much louder, and thus safer (IMO).
Climbing hills (which I do a lot) is also way more fun with this set up.
These are my rough estimates from the first ride:
First gear - 6,000 RPM = 25mph
Second -6,000 RPM = 35mph
Third -6,000 RPM = 47mph
Fourth -6,000 RPM = ~60mph (I didnt take it over 50 today)
