How do you get the kickstart knuckle off??
How do you get the kickstart knuckle off??
When I bought my '62 Dream 305, the kickstart wasn't on it. Previous owner said it was put on at the wrong angle and needed to be redone. I have all the parts, but the knuckle is still attached to the bike. I need to open the right cover to change the clutch cable and can't figure out how to get that knuck off. I've looks at the parts diagrams but I don't see how it's attached. Any help would be much appreciated.

I will try that tonight. Thank you for the response. Just so I understand how this works...Is the knuckle going to come off outside of the cover by wiggling it? The knuckle looks too big to fit through the opening of the cover, so I'm assuming that the wiggling unattaches it from whatever holds it inside?
