Hard clutch help please:)
i recently fixed up an old 66 superhawk. My mechanic put delo gold sae50, if i ride the bike for more then 45 minutes the clutch dosent seem to engage it becomes really hard to shift, its hard to find neutral. When the bike is in motion it is easier to shift gears but when i stop its harder to put in neutral . What could be the cause and remedy for this, your help would greatly be app, by appreciated thanks, i routed my cable in the straightest possible manner its going over my tank so no curves whatsoever

Re: Hard clutch help please:)
First I recommend ya replace the oil with a good (NAPA) 30W non detergent oil.
Second that trans probably like most of the others will have the"find neutral while stopped" syndrome.
Most of us go to neutral before we stop. ............................lm

I'm so glad to hear this. I wish there was a nice fat list somewhere of all the little things thats are typical, but would seems like a problem that's out of the ordinary to a new rider.

That "nice fat list somewhere of all the little things that are typical of these bikes" you mention
would be a "long fat list" and might take someone a few days to compose. The only thing if find typical about these bikes is they seem to draw the "nicest people."

You know, I was more or less kidding. But that's really not a bad idea.
