ca77 clutch plate centering hub
ca77 clutch plate centering hub
Is there a difference between a cush drive clutch centering hub and the earlier model? I have the 020 clutches (new) and cush basket (used) with the better clutch plates. Also the assembly for the cush drive would be helpful.
Re: ca77 clutch plate centering hub
It depends on what you mean by a cush drive clutch, opinions vary but physically the clutch centre will interchange, the position of the grooves for the retaining wires will dictate what combination of plates you can fit, assuming of course you retain the wires. They do help the clutch to free off when cold but otherwise, if you leave some of them out it isn't that big a deal. A late issue 'standard' clutch set up with five friction plates is best if you can find the correct bits but other combinations will work OK too.
