Well, I had fun this summer reliving the past on the Super Hawk but it seems that finding second gear is a problem. It shifts down into second but misses going up. I am assuming that the shift fork is bad.
I am looking on the parts drawing . Are the drum and forks the same for all years? Mine is a 67 BTW.
Thanks
CB 77 shift drum and forks

Re: CB 77 shift drum and forks
What you describe can be the shift drum, and/or the roller or a warn fork or gear dog. .........................lm

Shift drums.
Might be minor variations in appearance but they are all interchangeable.
