CB77 brake shoes - where to buy
Thanks for the info Loud Mouse.
I can pull the wheel(s) off later today I think.
I'm happy to finally be on track to sorting this out. I've had this bike for 5 or 6 years and the brakes have been very "touchy" since I've owned it. So much so that a mate locked up the rear on a sharp bend and the bike went out from under him. Both him and the bike were OK but I haven't used it since.
Have a good one

If the diameter is the same use them.
Like a car I'd put the longer one to the rear. ...............lm

The shoes are marked with a different code. When I stack them on top of each other it looks like one of the linings starts a little earlier than the other one.
Is it important which shoe goes where.
Thanks for your time
Scott
Thanks
I just put the wheel back on and the throw on the brake lever is much less as the old shoes had thinner worn out linings.
I'm not ready for a test ride just yet but I think this will be a lot better than before when the brakes would almost lock the front wheel if you were anything more than gentle when using them
