CL77 Front Fork Swap Question

Thanks for the replies. When I get back from vacation, I'll mount the DLS wheel and hub on the steel fork legs and asess the situation. My neighbor has a machine shop, so fabbing is not an issue. If I go this route, my goal will be to not alter the steel fork legs so I can return my CL to its' original configuration if I so desire. Bob B

This afternoon, I mounted my DLS CL77 front wheel onto my SLS steel fork leg front end. I used the axle from the SLS wheel, which fit perfectly. The speedo drives are identical. I lined up and mounted the brake stay arm to the lower fender bracket with no modifications. The welded tab on the fork tube for the SLS brake plate is not in the way; the DLS linkage moves freely. Tomorrow, I'll mount some good rubber and take it for a ride. I also have a question about my front fender. It is an aftermarket fender with the word "Beck" in an oval, and "Made in Japan" under the oval Hopefully, the photos I've attached are helpful. Thanks, Bob B
