So I heard that Cheng Shin is out of business, but some online research yielded IRC NR21 tires. They seem to be available in both 2.75 and 3.00 sizes.
Our options seem to be getting smaller....

3.5 tire
I had a new 3.5" rear tire put on my bike not too long before it went into hibernation in '74...When I went to remove the wheel during resurrection, I discovered there wasn't clearance to get it off without breaking the chain at master link, even with bike laying on its side. Just my experience, for what it's worth. --Lee

cb 77 tires
Dont know about race tires, but Scrambler Cycle has Heidenau tires in the correct sizes for the CB 77. I just got a set. 2 ply, rated for 93 mph and 112 mph as I recall. Look like a quality product.
