removing muffler

Post by Rich » Mon Apr 24, 2006 11:01 pm

I started to tear down my '61 CB72, one of the exhaust pipes came right off but the other is refusing to budge. Any tips on how to remove this pipe, I already messed it up a little bit trying to froce it off but I don't want to completly destroy it.

noone posted a reply, so I figured I'd let you know what I did

under the advice of some one I met, I took a small propane torch and heated up the area around where the mufler attached then I was able to work it loose
