Front axle CL-77

Post by Dgormley » Tue Aug 11, 2009 12:26 pm

I have a 66 cl-77, while taking the front wheel off for a new tire I had a helluva time breaking the axle nut loose. My old clymer manual doesn't even show this style( later aluminum) of fork. How tight should this be on reassembly?

Never mind , I found it in my "Bill Silvers" restoration manual. (snug it up with a thin wall wrench)
