Muffler and Baffle question

Muffler and Baffle question
The mufflers on my 305 Dream look good but I can see through the pipe and they are loud. I found some baffles for sale on a website and am wondering if these are to be inserted into the muffler to replace the rusted out components. Thanks for any help with this.
