The dampers on my 1967 CL77 have a metal top shroud. Should these be plastic like the CB of this year. What is the eye to eye damper length for the CL77? Mine measure 300mm assembled.

Re: CL77 Dampers
Greg,
It's my understanding is that ALL CL72s and 77s had the metal top cover on the rear dampers, mine certainly came like that.
I think it may have something to do with the proximity of the left hand damper to the exhaust pipes?

Thanks Dennis, Deltablues, good to know that they appear to be the correct ones.

DJM is correct.
The plastic cover has a larger diameter and the left side gets melted by the pipe. ......................lm
