Oil Seals

Some time back I had bought some front fork oil seals for a CL77. When I finally went to use them I found the outside Dia. to be a shy to small. Not large enough to seat. The measurements I got off them were 46 x 34.5 x 10. I'm not real familiar with Metric measurements on seals but the inside may be 40, I just mic'd to the rubbers edge. Would anyone have an idea what these may fit.

How too-small are they? There are "Leak Proof" brand name seals out there that are actually a push fit into the fork leg, versus the press fit style, originally installed. Never had a set, have no idea how they work but they claim they work really well.

If they are "Leak Proof" brand, they are supposed to be a little looser on the outside diameter so the seal can move in the lower.

Seems wrong, but it works.

I installed a set on my 550 several years back and they are still working fine.

They have a lifetime warranty.

Hey guys thanks for your feed back. These seals pretty much fall into the seat. And they have a metal O/D ring so I'm sure they are made for pressing. O/D IS 46mm.
