Leaky Fuel Petcock 1959 CA95 - Please Help.
Just got a '59 CA95 in decent shape. Cleaned out 25 years of bad gas, replaced all the rubber and cork in the petcock, but for the life of me I cant get it to seal tight. I dont think it's where it connects with the tank, the petcock itself seems like there is no way it would effectively seal. I considered getting a modern petcock, but would love to keep the original, I'm not sure if I'm missing something, like I have to put sealant/permatex or something ... any ideas would be great.

A likely culprit can be corroded petcock-to-tank mounting screws and compromised or missing red fiber sealing washers (Honda calls the fiber washer a Packing).
We offer new 5x25mm mounting screws with the correct Old JIS thread pitch, and the correct 5mm red fiber washers as a kit, of three (3) each. See: https://www.ebay.com/itm/115052664546.
Permatex or other sealants should not be required.
