Having some carb issues with my 66 dream
I'm getting the stock slow jet 35 from Loud Mouse (thanks Ed)
I wonder if anyone knows the stock jet needle position, what its the stock needle ID and how to identified.
I'm at sea level FL
Thanks in advance for any help :)
Bringing CA77 carb to stock setting.needle position?
So I got the carburetor removed cleaned
Needle is D3 I place it in second position.
I lapped the fuel needle with toothpaste as it was passing fuel I suspected
I'm waiting for:
New float (classic restorations )
Slow jet # 35 (loud mouse)
Gasket (loud mouse)
I also rehabilitated the fuel Petcock as it was passing gas thru the carb when on the off position
The gas tank lit vent was clogged I took care of that.
I cover all bases
It will be around Tuesday when I find out if my efforts paid off
I got most if the info here.
