cl77 gas tank

i recently bought a 67 cl77 with a gas tank that has no crossover fuel line.i cleaned around the part of the tank where the elbow usually is and found no sign that there had ever been one there.the petcock also has only 2 nipples instead of three.anyone know if this was a factory thing?

Dont remember off the top of me head but @ some point Honda eliminated the cross over setup.Thats probably why ya dont see any traces of it.<br /><br /><br />georGe
