Oh man that's a good idea but I'd go with the Multi port fuel injection off of a 3.1 Pontiac 6000. You'll just need to use two injectors. The ECM and wiring harness and adapt the sensors to the bike such as CT sensor, MAP, 02, TPS, EGR and you'll have to modify the speedometer so that you can install a check engine light in it. I'm sure it would be much to doing it. Paul305 wrote:i want to adapt a TBI to my honda dream..should i use one from a 4.3 chevy v-6? or what do you sugest?

305, Hey, anything can be done with enough money and time(just ask the government). There are companys that specialize in harness' for special applications. You'r a street rodder, you probably know about them, make acouple of calls. I was tossing around the idea of running my cafe racer on alchol, I know it could be done, butttttttttt! Steve

Back from the dead...again.
One of my favorite programmable EFI computers is MegaSquirt. It's cheap, it's feature-packed, it's universal, and many people have put it on all kind of engines, ranging from Briggs & Stratton singles to Honda CBRs to Jaguar V12s. I put mine on a Briggs 10hp single with a turbo, for example. I have often thought about injecting the spare 305 engine I have, but need to find pistons first.
MegaSquirt is not the end-all of EFI computers, but IMO it is the best starter/intermediate setup on the market thus far.
Don't use any of that GM junk. Retrofitting car parts is not the ideal way to go, especially since the GM TBI injectors would not only be too large, but the whole setup cumbersome and ineffective. Port injection with more bike-related parts will yield better results.305 wrote:i want to adapt a TBI to my honda dream..should i use one from a 4.3 chevy v-6? or what do you sugest?
