Air Filters

Post by labrat » Sat May 22, 2004 9:23 am

I have a daily rider and need air filters. I'm thinking of using some green weenies unless somebody out there has a better idea. What are you guys doing?
Thanks,
Greg
65 CB-77

Ohio Cycle quoted $55 for each air filter. Anyone rigged up something that's a bit more affordable? I'm thinking about adapting a sponge/K&N filter at the end of the Carb intake tube.

Thanks,
Tom

After the mice ate mine I had to do this. I decided to go put a K&N on mine. I measured the OD of the tube and hose clamped it on. I also had to place a metal ring on the inside in order for the clamp to work.

Hope this helps.
