CB77/CL77 ya remove the main jet and do a line of sight across the bottom of the float in line with the main jet holder and adjust so the tang just touches the needle but doesn't compress the pin. ......lm

Marlin, If ya flip that thing upside down and try to think of its' intended purpose it may become clear to you what your doing. That little clip is the jet needle clip( holds the jet needle in position in the carb slide) if you do a search in the carb section there's some real good graphic examples...............D
