'67 CL77 Fuel Screw

Post by Mrburnn » Tue Jan 08, 2019 8:47 am

Good morning Forum,

Is it possible for a fuel screw to be worn to the point where if it was tightened all the way in the motor would still run? My left side screw seems to work properly in that the engine will die when it is tightened. When I tighten the right screw the motor continues to run. Any thoughts?

Thanks Randy, I plan to pull the jet this weekend and check it out. I did pull the mixture screw for that carb tonight and found gas dripping from the tip. Is this a further indication of a plugged idle jet?

Thanks again for your time and comments!
