Needle Jet Removal Tool

Post by brewsky » Tue Jul 05, 2011 5:11 am

Found the perfect tool at the grocery store the other day for removing/installing needle jets without worry of damage.

Price was right too.

Brewsky..Do you drive them out from top to bottom or from bottom towards the top?My guess is from bottom ?Never took one out before.

They come out by driving down from the top.

The end with the larger opening goes "up" when re-installong.

If you can see a nice round hole when the jet holder is removed, there is really no reason to remove it..unless you can see some kind of damage.

If the hole is egg-shaped, then it needs replaced.

"Tap" would be a better word for it. Soak in PB Blaster or the like first.
