CA95 Carb part missing

Post by onchiman » Fri Nov 13, 2009 6:42 am

I picked up a really nice CA95. The previous owner had pulled off the carb and dipped it. It's clean as a whistle BUT... it seems that somehow the fuel inlet nipple has been pulled out and is missing. On this style carb the fuel inlet is brass and pressed into the carb body. I can only surmise that it came off during cleaning or when he pulled off the fuel tube the nipple came with it. Has anyone run into this before? I'm looking for ideas on how to replace this piece.

Yeah, I've had those pull out as I was trying to pull a very old and hard fuel line off the carb.
I just put it back in a gave it a good tap with a hammer. I'm guessing one from about any older
carb would work,

Brady
