Is there a difference between the heads on the 250 and 305 engines? Or the CBs and the CLs for that matter? I have a couple disassembled engines and I am curious to see what is what. How interchangeable are parts from these engines?

So I Might Be in Just a Bit Over My Head

Well my decade long dream of owning a CB77 has finally happened. However, this is not quite how I imagined it. I have done a few Honda restorations now, but nothing on this scale.

Determining Year of CB77s

I just acquired a few CB77s and 72s, I am trying to figure out the year of them. As a couple of them do not have titles any more. Is there any way to determine the year of them from the VIN? I know one of the frames is a 1961 CB72.

Any info on this would be great.
