Alan, Very interesting! I have a circular mark on the case which must have been caused by the clutch centre. I will have look on assembly and eliminate that as well. My other issue is a persistent oil leak from the cover. Very unlike a Honda! I have had a go at fixing it before and failed. I plan to...

HiAlan, I spoke to Sprockets Unlimited this morning and indeed the price is very reasonable. They are out of stock at the moment but are expecting a delivery in the next week or so. I will change the chain as you are recommending. Hopefully it will get rid of the clicking noise! Thanks again for you...

Gordon

Hi, I finally have got back to working on my CB77 after a lengthy house move which has killed my workshop time. I recently noticed that I have a clicking noise from the left cover area. I previously thought the noise was valve clearances not set correctly and making the usually clicking at low RPM b...

Hi Jambretta, I have had the Micjelin M45s on all last year and I am pleased with them. Previously, I had a Chinese ribbed tyre on the front. The M45 vastly improved the feel of the steering, much more precise. Grip seems fine although I am not Mike Hailwood and do not deliberately ride in the wet (...

Scottx, have fitted replacement coils from 4into1.com. They have performed fine so far after about 300 miles.
