Thanks! I'll do that. Someone on Facebook just told me that they think it's a 67 because of the tail light and chrome fenders. The CL77 does appear to be a 1967 model. The chrome fenders if original are an indicator the bike is a late 67 model, which continued to sell new into 1968 until Honda's in...

To verify: 1) Adjustable metal elbow with threaded adjuster that throttle cable runs through from RH throttle winder housing. Adjust for 1/8" slack in throttle grip. The gearshift pedal should return to a neutral middle position after each shift. Sounds like it wants to go up into 2-3-4 gears and doesn't want to go down into 1st gear?
