Re: Condenser testing

It was the condenser. Now so much spark I get shocked while not even touching the bike! :-) Thanks all!

Re: Condenser testing

Oooo - that's what I feared. I'm pretty sure this is what's happening then. It has a bit of spark outside the chamber, but I believe it is so weak it won't fire under compression. And the readings on the different leads are notably different when I test it with the meter. Thank you very much. Will p...

Condenser testing

Hello - My cb77 (dual points) condenser gives different readings on the different leads. I'm testing with an analog meter, and one side jumps significantly higher than the other. Does this mean anything? I'm having trouble with the side that jumps less. I'd like to know if internally the two circuit...

Stumped with my cb77 Superhawk right cylinder

Hello motor heads - I have a challenge for you! My 1966 Superhawk blew the head gasket and has been repaired with new gaskets and seals, honed the cylinders (in great shape), new rings. All good. Re: CL77 305 Cam Chain Tensioner Roller

Thanks! What is the consensus on fabricating a wheel? Here in Costa Rica our machine shops make anything. What material would be the best?

Re: CL77 305 Cam Chain Tensioner Roller

Hello - does the original tensioner come apart? How do I get the roller off its shaft? Everything looks like it was pressed together and not meant to be removed! I have 40,000 miles on the bike. My tensioner is the original one, and it isn't smooth anymore - all little spikes. What is the danger wit...
