Re: How screwed am I?I don’t wish to appear rude but…… why do people take either the carbs off or the plugs out before storing the bike in a river for a few years. Always seems such a shame that what could have been rebuildable becomes a salvage operation!

Re: 305 VS 150 DREAMAlmost nothing is the same, even the drive is on the opposite side, the headlight is about 1/4” smaller. 305 on the left and the c95 on the right.
Re: C72 from FranceThe rust on the frame is a real pain, I would get it shot blasted to show any other areas of concern, my C95 was really bad, right on the verge of not being repairable.
Re: C72 from FranceIf you look on the wiring loom under the tank there is a small label that has a date on it. It will be within a year of manufacture. The engine and frame numbers can sometimes be misleading and don’t expect them to match like some manufacturers do.
Re: C72 from FranceThe bike looks very nice and complete, good silencers will be difficult to find and expensive if you do find any. CMSNL in the Netherlands is a good source of parts but again quite expensive. You obviously paid attention at school as your English is excellent.
Re: Bill's CB77 Retirement ProjectI used short silencers on my CA77, they worked well except after a long run the chain guard and back wheel was covered in oily soot. Probably proved my bike was running a bit rich!
