just checking in , haven't been here in a while...seams kinda slow?

i bought a backup motor with 5500 miles in case the motor with 10500 miles in my `66 CA77 ever goes bad. the original motor still runs great and withe the few miles i put on it each summer i doubt i will ever need it. but it feels good having a spare just in case

looks like you now have a spare too

i saw this thread and i had to give it a try for myself, replaced the D8HA plugs in my `66 Dream with DR8HS plugs. it did seam to start easier and idle smoother...but i will have to wait until i move a couple cars so i can get it out for a test

DJM's mention of Honda's longevity got me thinking....how many miles could you get out of a 305 motor if reasonably taken care of? 10,000? 15,000? 20,000? i ask because my 1966 305 Dream that i bought in 1973 now has 10,500 miles. it seams to start and run great , uses no oil and makes no funny nois...
