CB72's and CL72 used PW22 carbs with the 22 meaning the venturi is 22 mm. CB77's and CL77's used PW26 carbs with a 26mm venturi. There may be a slight problem with performance when using a PW22 on either CB77 or CL77.

I'm not sure if you can get a firm grip with a small vise grip on it and hold on, if so perhaps you could use an air powered saw with a narrow (about a quarter inch wide blade) to cut it into smaller pieces, then retrieve the pieces. Actually there is quite a difference. The early pipe or grab bar has shorter tabs to secure to the fender. Also, the fender that corresponds to this early bar has built in screw threads the bar mounts into. The later version bar, #80145-273-670 has longer rear mounting tabs, and the fender was also ...
