There seems to be conflicting information regarding adjusting the timing chain on the 305's. The not very helpful CL77 owner's manual says: 1. Loosen the lock nut and then loosen the adjusting bolt and the chain will be tensioned automatically 2. Tighten the lock nut firmly after adjusting the chain...

Do you ride your CB77 on the freeway/highway?

Greetings - In the past, I've taken my 1967 CB77 on short stints on the freeway without any problems. This morning, I was riding on the freeway and all seemed fine for about 10-15 minutes riding at 60+ MPH. My bike started losing power and my boyfriend noticed a lot of smoke coming from the left exh...
