48lesco, Thanks for the info. They are all still in order from when I took them out. There are 5 friction discs. The problem is not being able to easily shift into first. I'm assuming that the discs for my model are supposed to be 4MM and if each one is 0.2MM smaller then thats ~1MM overall differen...

I have a 1974 305 CA77 that I would like to replace the friction discs. The 5 discs measure approximately 3.8MM. The first question is which discs should I look for? My guess is the 4MM discs. I can get the engine number if needed. Are there recommendations of where to purchase the discs? I found so...
