Re: Neutral Switch and Shift DrumThe slot in the shift drum should be pointing jsut about straight up when in neutral. You will have to split the cases and regroup, as your shift forks are now incorrectly indexed.
Re: CA77 Kickstarter rubber sleeveAssuming these aren't ancient rock-hard sleeves, it's tough to find a better lubricant than Castrol Red Rubber Grease to slide them on.
Re: Ca77 plug gapThe lack of response may have been due to your use of .35 and .26, instead of .035 and .026. It would seem to be a coil, condenser, plug wire, or spark plug cap issue. Is it the same for both cylinders? But, you can't rule out carb or voltage issues.
Re: CB77 front rimsYes, you can use the 1.85 (WM2) rear rim on the front. You could also use the standard 2.75-18 tire with that rim. Wider tires can cause fender bracket and fork clearance issues. Regards, Chase
