Turns out the frame number is CB72E-314800. This is different than the engine number so does it mean they are from different bikes? It's a bitsa?

No log book.

Thanks for your replies. So it turns out to be '63. (engine number CB72E 312163). I think it's a UK bike (we lived in Hertfordshire) Reg Number is 4728 KM.
