You need to preload the brake so that the arm is just taught with the spring. This is easier as a two person job as one person will need to keep the arm cocked and held in position on the left while the other person mounts the brake pedal on the right. As I don't have the luxury of help in my garag...

Re: CA77 brake light switch hookup.

I'm not quite sure, but is this what you're looking for? Can someone take a picture of the way the springs are on the rear brake pedal for the switch. I just picked up a 65 and it seems to put slack at the switch when I press on the pedal. The shaft is pretty sloppy too if that makes a difference. ...

CA77 brake light switch hookup.

Can someone take a picture of the way the springs are on the rear brake pedal for the switch. I just picked up a 65 and it seems to put slack at the switch when I press on the pedal. The shaft is pretty sloppy too if that makes a difference. The bike has seen better days for sure.

You could try boiling it in soapy water, which has worked for me before. That is a very nice 450! Thanks, I'll be working on the carb later today so I'll let you know. That 450 is sharp, Mike. I'd love to have one in my stable. I regretfully passed on a K0 recently because it was located just too far away from me. Hope the new carb works out. If you were in my neighborhood I would have liked to take a crack at cleaning up your old one. I'm going to put some heat ...

Re: Wanted 1965 CA77 Carb

Mike, There are quite a few on ebay. How about soaking that carb? I'm betting you can clean it up and get that slide out with a bit of effort. Hi I'm looking for a CA77 carb in working condition. The slide is stuck solid in a non running bike I just bought. I want to see if it fires before I go any...
